First Touch Academy invites you to tryout for the First Touch Academy (FTA) indoor soccer team. The FTA team will compete in the National Indoor Championships.
Last year, we were able to form U10, U11, and U12 teams. For both kids and parents, the experience was tremendous. Informtion will be out in October regarding dates for tryouts and locations for the Regional Events.
The indoor championships are an excellent time for the players in the Triangle area to join forces and compete against many talented players in their age group. The event is fun-filled, fast paced, and action packed. Players will be able to assess strengths and weaknesses and continue with their soccer development. Our goals are to compete, learn, and have fun.
We will be looking to form teams at the U10, U11, and U12 age groups. In the event we have significant numbers of U9 players, we will consider forming a U9 team as well. Some age groups may be combined.
Finally, we understand that players are committed to an outdoor teams. In the event a team qualifies for Nationals, we will assess availability and possible guest players to fill vacated roster spots.
